To mark the release of Skids 1977 on vinyl, we’ve created a legacy T-shirt drawn directly from one of the earliest chapters in the story of The Skids.

The design features lyrics from three songs; My Life, Victims of the Weekend and New Daze, reproduced from Stuart’s original handwritten pages, complete with their dates and signatures.

Stuart was still a teenager when he put these words to paper. He could have had little idea where they would lead, or of the music, influence and legacy that would follow.

More than four decades later, the handwriting brings us back to where it began: a young songwriter, a page, and the first words of songs that would become part of something much bigger.

No recreation. No reinterpretation. Just Stuart’s words, exactly as he wrote them.
